It's Friday, got to get ready for the weekend!
Get ready for meeting with our science buddies tomorrow. We will be learning the science behind pumpkins. Also think about your hypothesis in regards to your water cycle bag. Will there be condensation in your bag?

Is your water bottle full of dinosaur tears?

Remember that all the water that is on Earth is all that there will ever be. So was your last cup of water from a dinosaur tear, or maybe from Benjamin Franklin's cup of tea? Before we start our journey through the water cycle test your knowledge by watching this short video, reviewing some vocabulary, and taking a quiz. Just click here to start your review.

Thomas Time
Our attempt to videotape Thomas Time this week was a bust. I would like to blame it on the camera, but I think it was the user (me!). Thomas, this week we met with our 3rd grade Science Buddies and decorated cookies to look like cells. See the third graders are studying life science, and we just wrapped up learning about microscopes. So what better way to celebrate science than through eating. You can make one at home too! We used sugar cookies, and different types of candies to represent an animal cell's organelles. Yum! We're thinking of you!
