We started off the week learning about least common multiples and least common denominators. Tomorrow during math we will learn how to use the LCD to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators (apples and oranges). For extra credit leave a comment and either tell us in your own words how to find the LCD of two or more fractions or find a cool website (and post the site) that lets you practice this skill.

both bottom denominators need to be linded up and u need to find about 6-7 factors or that number than do the other bottom denominator and when u get to the first factor they have in common u circle it and right it down

First you find the smallest common multiple of the two numbers and that is your common denomenator.For exaple 5 and 10 the commen denomenator is 10!
U find the smallest number that the numbers have in common.Example the GCF for 12&24 is 24!

Ok so you list a few of the multiples and then in that list you have to find the same number that appears first.
10:10,20 ,30,40,50
40:40,
So in that problem the LCD is 40
