Snow Day in C.A.!
It snowed in sunny Florida today! At least it did during our enrichment class. We had fun designing snowflakes, constructing snowmen, learning more about the water cycle, writing about snowy habitats, and took a closer look at some snowflakes (Insta-Snow that is!).

Bubble Popping and Apple Dunking!
My fourth grade students were POPPING with ideas during our bubble gum experiment!
They tested bubble sizes and stretchability between two brands of gum.
There wasn't a bad apple in the bunch in our fifth grade class while we experimented with apples. We also dissected apples with our 3rd grade science buddies!

It's a Mystery!
Today we used our sense of touch to observe a variety of items in some mystery bags. The students did a great job using their skills to decide what these six bags contained. We got to see that scientist can't always use all of their senses to draw conclusions. It was frustrating at times the mini scientists said, but also a lot of fun!
